Mary Plata was having a hard time selling the Austin home where she’d lived for 40 years. The realtors she engaged to help her didn’t keep appointments and often spoke negatively about her property. She got to talking with the neighbor at the end of her cul de sac, who was a Blairfield Realty client and spoke very highly of Donna Blair and the Blairfield Team.
So Mary called them. “It was the best thing I ever did in my life,” she exclaimed. “There’s no one in Austin who can match Donna and Tammy (Tamara Carlisle) as far as I’m concerned. If there was any way I could get them named realtor of the year, I would.” Ultimately, Blairfield Realty bought Mary’s home and helped her purchase a new home in Kyle. During the process, Donna and Tamara taught her a lot of things that she didn’t know- so she had money left over after the two transactions, and is saving money today. “I don’t have to worry anymore,” she said. “They did everything for me, and are even going to help me with my over-65 homestead exemption. I tell everyone that I can that they’re out to help people. They’re my friends and will be my friends for life.”
