The Austin Food + Wine Festival – April 22-24 at Republic Square Park
This annual event showcases the talents of master chefs, sommeliers and winemakers from across the nation, including Austin’s own acclaimed gourmet scene. Lucky ticketholders will feast on 40+ food and beer, wine and cocktail tastings, have up-close access to the talent at cooking demos and seminars and more. And it wouldn’t be a festival in Austin without live musical entertainment! The Grand Taste Pavilion will feature the Chef Showcase + Sunday Gospel Brunch with Robert Randolph + the Voices of Greater Calvary Gospel Choir.
The Austin Food & Wine Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Texas food, wine, spirits and craft brews and increasing appreciation of Texas’ culinary impact, is a beneficiary of the Austin Food + Wine Festival. The alliance fosters awareness and innovation in the Central Texas culinary community through educational programming, events, and grants to fund projects based on culinary innovation.

The Umlauf Garden Party – April 28 at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum
The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the annual Umlauf Garden Party promises to be its best yet! Guests will spend the night strolling through the gardens, enjoying select wines curated by Twin Liquors, tasting a variety of bites from Austin’s most celebrated restaurants, dancing to the electric sounds of the Nash Hernandez Orchestra and bidding on one-of-a-kind live and silent auction items.
So get ready for a great time, and support a very worthy cause while you’re at it! The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum is a treasured Austin landmark where visitors can enjoy Charles Umlauf’s work as well as that of other contemporary sculptors. The mission of the UMLAUF is to provide educational experiences in an approachable, accessible and natural setting that encourage an understanding and appreciation of sculpture. Proceeds from the event are used to offer direct access to the arts to more than 40,000 patrons annually, while preserving Charles Umlauf’s legacy.
