Donna Blair is passionate about real estate. At age 19, she began working for a home building company in Dallas, quickly moving her way up the ranks from sales assistant to senior and finally top-selling sales associate. After eight years with the company, Donna decided to branch off on her own. In 2005, she moved to Austin and earned her real estate license; in 2009, she became a licensed broker and founded Blairfield Realty. As the company grew, so did the demand for more extensive remodeling and design services among a segment of her clients. In response, Donna and co-owner Tamara Carlisle founded Blair & Carlisle Homes, an offshoot of Blairfield Realty, in 2013.
Donna’s “whatever it takes” attitude has earned the trust of 100s of buyers and sellers in the Austin real estate market. She is committed to helping people buy their dream home, get top dollar for the sale of their home and find great real estate investments. Whether it’s helping a client stage a home or design a new home, she and her team deliver.
Donna is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors® and the Austin Board of Realtors®. When she is not immersed in all things real estate, Donna mentors students at Barton Hills Elementary School. She also enjoys Austin’s wonderful restaurants, beautiful biking and jogging trails and eclectic night spots.
Tamara Carlisle is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience building and running companies such as Big Kids, Inc., the leading distribution company for independently produced children’s entertainment; Lights Out, Inc.; and other business ventures.
In addition, she has been heavily involved in real estate and has bought, remodeled and sold numerous residential and commercial properties over the past 15 years. In addition to running Blair & Carlisle Homes with partner Donna Blair, Tamara leads the majority of staging projects at Blairfield Realty, which she joined in 2012 as the VP of Operations.
Born in the Midwest, Monica Blackburn moved to Houston after graduating from Coe College. In the early ’90s, she and her husband moved to Austin. Looking for a place to raise their children, they chose the Barton Hills neighborhood–-a choice, she says, that benefited her family in innumerable ways. The two Blackburn daughters attended Barton Hills Elementary, O.Henry and Kealing Middle Schools and Stephen F. Austin High School.
Monica has more than 20 years of experience in retail marketing, property management and leasing. Since obtaining her real estate license, her focus has shifted from commercial leasing/sales to residential sales. Monica focuses on understanding exactly what her clients want, diligently researching the market, and then helping them secure their perfect home. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors® and the Austin Board of Realtors®.
When she’s not engaged in the business of Blairfield Realty and its clients, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also loves to run and is an active volunteer at Stephen F. Austin High School’s Academy for Global Studies.
In 1997, Tami Shneidman said goodbye to Wisconsin’s winters and brought her degree in finance and accounting to Austin, where it didn’t take her long to fall in love with the city’s lifestyle. Now a long-term Austinite, she and her husband, Aaron, are currently raising three daughters who currently attend Zilker Elementary and O. Henry Middle School.
Tami worked for several years at Dell, Inc. before taking a break to raise her children and start Crazy Aaron Lawn, Landscape & Irrigation, LLC, a full-service landscaping company, with her husband. For the past 10 years, she also has been very active in the Austin real estate market and credits her background in finance with helping her recognize its great investment potential.
Tami loves real estate and is committed to helping clients during every step of the buying and selling process. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors® and the Austin Board of Realtors®. When she’s not working at Blairfield Realty, she enjoys playing softball and paddle boarding, traveling with her family and exploring Austin’s many fine restaurants and food trailers.
Ruth Johnson is a rare find in our city–a born-and-bred Austinite. Even before she began working for Blairfield Realty in 2011, she had an avid interest in real estate. She and her husband, an inspector, manage a rental property that they completely remodeled themselves.
Ruth divides her time between her career as a real estate agent and Blairfield’s office administrator and raising her young son. Even so, she still finds time to be an active member of her community, being named Barton Hills Elementary’s Volunteer of the Year in 2013; enjoys camping and hiking; and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro!
Ruth is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors® and the Austin Board of Realtors®.
From a very young age, Ashley Sarver has been captivated by all things home. In 2004, after earning a degree in interior design from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in Los Angeles, Ashley moved back to her hometown of McAllen, Texas, where she practiced freelance interior design and worked at the family business. During this time, Ashley bought, fixed up and sold several houses, and eventually built spec homes.
Ashley moved to Austin in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the city. She and her husband, a general contractor, soon began investing in the Austin real estate market, which naturally led Ashley down the path to a full-time career in real estate. Her background in interior design helps her to identify and convey a property’s potential to buyers, or offer suggestions to maximize a sale. Ashley understands the momentousness of finding the perfect home or selling one for maximum return, and she works diligently to help take as much of the stress out of the buying and selling process as possible.
When she isn’t working, at a playground with her two toddlers, or watching her teenage daughter cheer, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, practicing photography, attending Austin events such as ACL and the AIA Homes Tour, and helping friends and family decorate their homes.
Lisa Holden has lived in Austin since 1970 and has made the Crestview neighborhood her home for the past 20 years. In her 12 years as a property manager, Lisa has consistently earned high marks among tenants for her attention to detail, organizational skills and friendly service. She brings these qualities to Blairfield Property Management.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors®, the Austin Board of Realtors® and the National Association of Residential Property Managers®. When she is not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.
