Donna and her OUTSTANDING team recently helped my mom with the sale of her 1950s ranch-style house in 78704. They were “with” her every step of the way, making what could have been a colossal project for us a piece of cake! They listed furniture for her on Craigslist, arranged and packed a POD, hauled away mountains of outdoor debris, cleaned and staged the house after it was emptied and had two offers way above asking price immediately!!
Not surprisingly, an older home like this one turned up some issues during inspection. Donna’s construction expertise and connections came to the rescue!! She arranged for and oversaw all necessary repairs, negotiating a deal that pleased both buyer and seller. From A to Z, working with Blairfield Realty was a fabulous experience. These are super professionals with unparalleled commitment to their clients. Oh, and they’re darn nice folks, too, even driving my mom to closing and hand-delivering her final check! I wish I could give them more stars – they deserve them!!
I have nothing but good to say about Blairfield Realty. Donna Miller sold my house before it even “officially” went on the market and within 5k of the original asking price. I contacted her after she informed me that she had some prospective buyers lined up who wanted to see the house to apologize for not having had time to do more in the way of cleaning up the yard. She informed me that she had a crew coming to take care of everything so not to worry. I got home from work the next day to find the grass mowed, leaves cleaned up and a fresh layer of mulch in all the beds. Wow! They really made the place look good. I found the advice I was given to be dependably accurate from start to finish, and the whole process from listing to agreement to closing took less than two months. Who could ask for more?
I don’t even know if I can put into words just how awesome Kevin Haines was during my home buying process, but I am going to try.
First of all, let me say that I was thrust into a pretty bad situation by my apartment complex; I had been thinking of buying a home for a while, but when I was told I couldn’t renew my lease, I had 3 months to find a place. I called Kevin and he eased my fears of homelessness and we started the process right away.
I was originally impressed with Kevin when he helped my friend find an apartment; he seriously knew the South Austin area like the back of his hand and he knew what a great investment property was.
I am the type of person that always asks a LOT of questions, but he never once made me feel as though I was bothering him with something simple. That, more than anything, is what’s important to me. He was down to earth and realistic. I told him what I wanted and he delivered. Everything went MORE than smoothly and I have now lived in my house for a month and I couldn’t be happier.
I recommend Kevin’s name to everyone I know that is looking to purchase a home — I wouldn’t use anyone else.
(Let me also say that he had to go out of town right after our offer got accepted and he made SURE that I was covered. Monica Blackburn didn’t miss a beat; she jumped right in where Kevin left off and helped us get all of our repairs approved. She made herself available to me and I appreciated everything that she did to help!)
My wife and I owned a house in South Austin but live in Boston. We decided to sell and Tami jumped at the opportunity to help us. She handled every aspect from the start and made our life a lot easier.
We told her our budget for getting the house ready for sale and how much we were hoping to sell it for. After doing a thorough walkthrough of our home, we discussed what she thought we needed to do to prepare the home for buyers within our budget range. She then presented us with competing bids from different flooring companies, paint companies, and handymen. She never forced an opinion on what we needed to do. She gave her opinion when asked and made everything relaxed and easy going. She handled every aspect of the renovations. Coordinating with the workers, overseeing what they were doing, and handling any issues that may have come up. We ended up coming in under budget for all the renovations and never had to talk with one company.
When it came time to put the house on the market she suggested to sell it for even more than we thought we could get. She felt comfortable with what we were selling and the neighborhood we were selling in. Within 24 hours of going on the market, we had two offers. 24 hours after that, we were under contract with a buyer. I can now happily say the house has been sold for well over what we thought we could get all while costing less in renovations than we thought.
I feared selling our house from half way across the country but Tami took all that fear away. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to sell their home. Or buy one for that matter. Thank you Tami.
Donna at Blairfield Realty was wonderful to work with throughout the home buying process. I met Donna while scoping out houses on my own, and she quickly won my business with her superior knowledge of the Austin real estate market and her design/renovation skills.
Donna understood exactly what I wanted in my dream home and was quick to get me listing information on the most sought after homes the day they hit the market. Extremely patient, she walked me through many homes and was able to offer great insight on renovation ideas and help me visualize the potential of each space.
With Donna’s help, I was able to snatch a gem off the market the day it was listed and strategically handle a bidding war and win. Her experience in contract negotiation helped me win my dream home, and I was able to close quickly using her knowledgeable contacts for financing and inspection.
I highly recommend Donna if you’re buying or selling a home in Austin. I’ve worked with other realtors in the past, but none made the home buying process as easy or fun. Donna is very tapped into the Austin real estate market and is a great asset to have in your corner when buying/selling a home.
Donna helped me buy my first home, and she was awesome to work with. She was efficient, professional and experienced, and she was there when I needed her. She worked directly with my mortgage company and then explained things in a way that made sense to me. Donna went above and beyond my expectations.
Wow, I really found a winner! Donna’s experience and knowledge of the market made me feel confident that I was paying the right price. She worked around my hectic schedule and was always available when houses fitting my criteria came on the market. Such an awesome experience. I would highly recommend her to my friends.
After we put our house on the market with one realtor and it sat unsold for several months, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and speaking with Donna Miller at Blairfield in Austin, Texas. Donna is the most professional realtor I have ever dealt with. She knew everything about our area and had a few suggestions to get our house sold more quickly, and once we listed with her, our house was sold in two weeks. She answered my questions fully and without hesitation. Once we sold our home she was able to find us a new house that met all our requirements. This was a first in all my house buying years! Once I decided on the house that I desired to purchase, Donna worked with me to arrange the financing at the rate and the payment I wanted. This was absolutely the most pain free and enjoyable home buying experience I have had in all my home buying years. Based on Donna’s professionalism, her “can do, will do” attitude, she has gained a permanent customer and I would recommend her to anyone.
People who are passionate about their work tend to excel. And Donna Miller loves what she does. She lives and breathes real estate, bringing her A-game to every phase of the home buying or selling process. Her calm and laid-back demeanor is backed with uncompromising professionalism and a thorough knowledge of the business. She negotiated a complex contract for the sale of my home in Barton Hills, then organized and supervised a crew of contractors to make sure that numerous repairs and updates were done before I ever moved into my next house. She does it all, and she does it well. Highly recommend.
I have worked with Donna Miller on several occasions, both purchasing and selling properties. Her professionalism was evident the first time we worked together. She has a particular knack for pricing properties properly, staging houses and walking through all stages of the closing process. Not only is she respected by her own clients, but she also has a wonderful reputation amongst her peers, and is lovely to work with. I highly recommend working with Donna and her associates at Blairfield Realty.
Our friends recommended Donna to us after we were having trouble with our first realtor, and we are so glad they did. Donna and her team took what had the potential to be an extremely stressful situation and made it as smooth and painless as possible. She was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable. She even previewed houses we were interested in to see if it was worth our time to visit! We’ve already referred Donna to two friends, and wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to anyone looking to buy a house in Austin. Thanks Blairfield Realty!

Kevin knows Austin like the back of his hand and loves Austin above all things. He gave my husband and I a complete tour of everything we needed to see and know when we relocated to Austin in the fall of 2005. His guidance almost made us experts of the city and also helped us decide to stay in Austin and settle down in our current Brentwood neighborhood.
If you are looking for an Austin real estate agent, especially one specializing in the 78704 zip, stop right now and call Donna Miller of Blairfield Realty.
As an agent/broker/investor/lawyer myself, I am a pretty experienced user of real estate services. Because I am not licensed in Texas, I have used a number of Austin agents in the past to buy and sell investment properties. This past year I decided to sell my own home in Zilker Park, and interviewed a number of agents before meeting with Donna.
To say that I was blown away is an understatement. I have never met an agent or broker as energetic, creative, persistent, savvy and resourceful as Donna. This was a difficult sale, I was an-out-of state seller, there were open permits on the house from several years ago, there were renters in the house before I put it on the market. Donna took over the reins from the very first day and did an amazing job staging, marketing and negotiating the escrow process. I really don’t think anyone else could have handled all the different things that arose except for her. I was so, so grateful to have her as my agent.
I am not the only one to recognize her as a force of nature – those are the very words used by the Austin Statesman in their profile of her. Trying to post the link below; if it doesn’t work just Google “Austin Statesman Donna Miller.”
I also dealt closely with one of Donna’s partners, Tamara Carlisle. Like Donna, Tam is inordinately energetic, capable, smart and resourceful. Between the two of them, I believe that they might be able to oversee the next Mars expedition for NASA, let alone some trifling real estate transactions in Austin.
I am trying to persuade Donna and Tam to move the business to Los Angeles and set up shop here; they would take over the town. They persist in their commitment to Austin, though, they love the damn place. So If you need to buy or sell a house, you’re in luck. Do yourself a favor and call Donna – you can send me the thank-you gift certificate later!
Blairfield Realty brings that something extra to the equation. They excel at using their subject matter expertise to navigate the Austin Market.
Lisa is the best landlord I have ever had. I rented a house from her for three years. The property was well maintained, and if there was ever a problem, she was quick to fix it. Lisa is friendly, organized and courteous. She respects tenant’s privacy by always scheduling visits and repairs. It was really a pleasure to live in such a nice house, and to always have problems solved in a timely fashion. I would give her my highest recommendation.
