“Their business model blows everyone else’s out of the water.” That’s the first thing Trish Bennett said when asked to describe her experience using Blairfield Realty to help sell her and her husband Joe’s Austin home of eight years. “They were professional and on top of things. They always followed through.”
Trish and Joe met Donna Blair of Blairfield Realty when she helped Trish’s mother sell a home a while back. Based on what she observed, Trish didn’t think twice about calling Donna when she and Joe decided to relocate to Maryland. “Blairfield Realty had set the bar high, but they didn’t just rest on their laurels,” she said. “Donna did a full-blown analysis on my home. She had everything covered and was extremely well-organized.” Trish and Joe were so confident about Donna’s ability and knowledge that they put the decision about the asking price for their home in Donna’s hands. That strategy worked, as the couple began receiving offers just one-and-a-half hours after the house went on the market, and ultimately sold it for 30K over asking price.
So what exactly made the experience so unique? “Donna and Tamara handled absolutely everything,” Trish recalled. “I always got a heads up before anyone came by the house for an inspection or any other reason. And when there was something minor to take care of – like when our HVAC system needed a routine checkup – they were on it. I didn’t have to coordinate a thing. They’re in the business of doing remodels, so they have so many contacts. That saved me tons of legwork and totally took the stress out of things.
“It’s obvious they love their jobs,” Trish concluded. “People would be crazy not to go with them. Other realtors are crazy not to follow their strategy.”
