We’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Consolascio, in-home stylist at West Elm and one of our favorite resources for the furniture and accessories we use to furnish and stage Blairfield Realty homes. Sabrina has had a career in retail for decades, and during her five-year tenure at West Elm, she’s helped us find the perfect pieces for our projects.
When asked what styles we can look forward to seeing in the coming months, Sabrina remarked, “Even though it’s winter in Austin, our spring line is out, which I love because of the pastels that come in.” She added, “Mid-century modern pieces continue to be popular, with their minimalism and clean, neutral lines. The style is really versatile because it can go more modern or traditional, depending on what’s paired with it.”
Another style that she mentioned is becoming increasingly popular is a mix of rustic with industrial, or classic and modern, such as pairing a mid-century dining table with modern chairs. It’s just the look that we gravitate toward at Blairfield Realty, and for that reason, we have a great working relationship with Sabrina and an appreciation for the West Elm aesthetic.
When she’s not helping Blairfield and other West Elm clients at the 6th and Lamar store, Sabrina keeps busy with numerous design projects. She’s currently helping furnish the model homes at the new Sur 512 apartment complex, and will work with Capital One and local vendors to stage the bank’s event at SXSW, taking place this March.
If you’re looking for an easy way to update your home, let Sabrina or one of the other folks at West Elm work with you to choose a few new pieces for your home – and tell her Blairfield Realty sent you!
