It’s that time of year: Austin is gearing up for ACL! Now in its 15th year (and its fourth as a two-weekend festival), Austin City Limits Music Festival (or ACL for short) attracts some 450,000 music lovers over six days. They flock to Zilker Park to listen to music on eight stages from a variety of genres, including rock, indie, country, folk, electronic, and hip-hop.
This year’s festival will take place on September 30 – October 2 and October 7 – 9. The lineup includes Radiohead, Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, Kygo, Willie Nelson, The Chainsmokers, LL Cool J, featuring DJ Z-Trip, Band of Horses, and more than 100 other acts. There’s something for everyone, no matter what your musical taste!
Three-day passes have sold out, but one-day passes are still available. Visit the ACL website for info on how to buy a ticket, figure out your best transportation options, see what you can bring into the park with you and more.
