Blairfield recently headed to Odd Duck to sample their innovative menu known for featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. This restaurant is truly a gem on South Lamar, and lucky for us, it’s just a few blocks north of our office.
The menu was varied to satisfy both herbivores and carnivores, and included some really unique plates not seen everywhere. Our waiter, Zach, was friendly and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions and fun banter. The pig face pretzel was our favorite by far. Don’t let “pig face” scare you! It was basically pork wrapped in a house-made everything soft pretzel. YUM!
The atmosphere was super cute, warm and welcoming, with repurposed materials throughout that created a rustic farmhouse vibe. We didn’t feel that everything was overly delicate but we still managed to feel special. I’ll admit that I was nervous about heading over here based on the descriptions of some of the menu items. Fear not! This place is totally approachable. And if you get Zach, he’ll make sure you are taken care of!
We love keeping up with local shopping, eating and fun. And we love sharing it with our clients! Where should we check out next? #blairfieldgoesto
