As another year draws to a close and we celebrate the holidays, I’d like to send out a message of thanks.
First, I am deeply thankful for the success we experienced during 2016. We sold a lot of houses! I am particularly honored to have earned the personal distinction of being the #1 selling agent in 78704 this year-to-date. I appreciate everyone who has helped me achieve that honor.
I am also grateful for the great team we’ve built. Blairfield Realty now has 10 licensed real estate agents, supported by three fantastic staff members who keep everything flowing smoothly. Blairfield Property Management continues to grow, too. The company now manages 39 properties, and Lisa Holden, owner and property manager extraordinaire, has added staff and put systems in place to help even more property owners manage their rentals efficiently and seamlessly.
Finally, I’m thankful for you. I feel blessed to live in a fantastic city and be surrounded by such kind, generous and professional people. I can’t express how grateful I am for my wonderful clients and team.
As a small token of our gratitude, we’re excited to be giving back to the community during the holidays by once again donating new outfits to the kids at Helping Hand Home for Children. This non-profit provides a nurturing and therapeutic home for children who have suffered severe abuse and neglect. We encourage you to visit their website to learn more about the very important work they do.
We also look forward to the Hill Country Ride for AIDS in spring 2017. This is a fun event and fundraiser that we’ve been involved with in years past, and after taking some time off from the ride, we’re excited for a new chapter. Our team, captained by Blairfield real estate agent Matthew Redden, will be called “The Extra Milers.” We hope you’ll join us in supporting this very worthy cause – stay tuned for more info!
Due to its diverse economy, Austin continues to thrive and be insulated against many of the factors that affect other markets. For that reason, we continue to enjoy a strong real estate market. While no one can truly predict what will happen with the market in the coming year, please know that we are positioned and ready to help clients find opportunities in any type of market.
This holiday, I hope you’re surrounded by the people you love.
