If you’re looking to find unique, handcrafted items for your friends and family this holiday season (and knock out your shopping early!), look no further than the Renegade Craft Fair, happening November 25-26 at Fair Market (1100 E. 5th St.).
Founded in Chicago in 2003, the Renegade Craft Fair has expanded to 12 major cities across the U.S. and the U.K., including Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Miami, Boston, Detroit, London, and of course, Austin. It attracts 300,000 attendees annually because of its focus on bringing in the highest quality goods and the freshest voices in design, from emergent to seasoned independent makers.
In addition to featuring unique handmade items from hundreds of makers, the Fair also offers fun DIY workshops, food and drinks, live music, and much more. Doors open at 11 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Parking around the Fair Market can be tough, so consider carpooling, ride services, biking or taking public transportation.
‘Tis the season! Enjoy!
