Looking for a fun and family-friendly event this summer? Grab a blanket and head over to the Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside Theater in Austin’s beautiful Zilker Park for this year’s summer musical, “The Little Mermaid”! Happening Thursdays through Sundays from July 12 – August 17 courtesy of Zilker Theatre Productions (ZTP), the show is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
ZTP has been dedicated since 1959 to celebrating and preserving the Broadway Musical and making it accessible to all. Each year, ZTP brings award-winning, free admission entertainment to some 45,000 audience members. In addition to producing one of the longest running, free, outdoor musicals in the country, the organization also provides a variety of other community outreach and youth training programs, including audition workshops, literacy partnerships, internships, and more.
