Too hot to cook? Check out a new restaurant—or visit an old favorite—and help a neighbor in need at the same time. Austin Restaurant Weeks 2019 is happening now through September 2. This two-week dining event features specially-priced lunches, dinners and cocktails at restaurants across the greater Austin area. A portion of the price of each meal will go directly to the Central Texas Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas, serving nearly 46,000 people each week. Prix fixe meal options include lunch or brunch for $20 and dinner for $35 or $50. To find a list of participating restaurants and find out more, visit the event website.
