Born in the Midwest, Monica Blackburn moved to Houston after graduating from Coe College. In the early ’90s, she and her husband moved to Austin. Looking for a place to raise their children, they chose the Barton Hills neighborhood–-a choice, she says, that benefited her family in innumerable ways. The two Blackburn daughters attended Barton Hills Elementary, O.Henry and Kealing Middle Schools and Stephen F. Austin High School.
Monica has more than 20 years of experience in retail marketing, property management and leasing. Since obtaining her real estate license, her focus has shifted from commercial leasing/sales to residential sales. Monica focuses on understanding exactly what her clients want, diligently researching the market, and then helping them secure their perfect home. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Texas Association of Realtors® and the Austin Board of Realtors®.
When she’s not engaged in the business of Blairfield Realty and its clients, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
