There’s no better time than the holidays to lace up your skates and take a twirl around the ice – even in Austin. That’s right, Ice Skating on the Plaza is back! For its 12th year, Whole Foods’ flagship store on South Lamar has been delighting Austin residents and visitors alike with a rooftop ice skating rink.
But be sure to visit soon, because the last day to skate this season is January 7! The rink is open daily at Whole Foods downtown (524 North Lamar Blvd.) between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., and your $10 admission includes skates. It does get rented out on weekdays for private parties, though, so be sure to call 512.476.1206 before you plan your visit.
