Has it been a while since you’ve visited the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum? Now’s a good time to rediscover this hidden gem, with free admission through August 31, and 20% off membership fees to join the UMLAUF at any membership level.
The UMLAUF is also hosting a number of events this month, including UMLAUF After Dark, happening August 6. Admission to the event is free for members and only $5 for guests. The evening will feature live music; drinks from Austin Beerworks, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Wine for the People; and fun activities on the lawn.
Or take an all-levels yoga class at 9:30am on Wednesdays and Fridays in the lovely sculpture garden. After the one-hour class, sip on a mimosa and roam the grounds before it opens for the day. The class is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
If you have a few little ones in tow, check out Family Day, happening Sunday, August 11 from noon to 4pm. This free event will feature a variety of activities, including family yoga, an ice carving demonstration, and a sing-along with Armstrong Community Music School, as well as arts and crafts to keep the kiddos entertained.
