“My daughter Taylor has lived in her condo for a little over a year. She has slowly added furniture, accessories and wall art. One of the things about the home that bothered her though was the backsplash in the kitchen. The builder of the home used the 12 x 12 floor tiles as the kitchen backsplash. After getting several bids she realized it was cost prohibitive to remove the tile, repair the drywall and put in new tile.
Her solution was to purchase peel and stick tile to be placed over the existing tile. All it took was a ruler, exacto knife or scissors, peel and stick tile from Home Depot, time and patience. For the amount of tile Taylor needed, it cost her $130 and free delivery to her door from Home Depot. She started on a Saturday morning and 8 hours later had transformed her kitchen into a refreshing bright new look. It is hard to remember what is under the new tile.”
